bcs Biotech srl offers a service for cloning of specific sequences in plasmid vectors.

The service offered requires preliminary evaluation of feasibility by the Head of the Cloning Laboratory and R&D.

Starting matrix : biological sample / extracted DNA-RNA

  • Creation of a restriction map
  • Synthesis of the selected oligonucleotides
  • Setup of the amplification protocol for the target sequence

Starting matrix: PCR product

  • Verification of specificity and quantification of the amplified product

Supplied Materials

  • Purified plasmid DNA with insert
  • n° 1 vial of cells in glycerol containing the plasmid with the insert of interest (1 ml)

The development and production activities performed in the cloning laboratory involve genetically modified micro organisms (GMMO) and therefore fall under the regulation of Legislative Decree 206/01.

The genetically modified micro organisms are produced in our manufacturing plant in conformity with the law in a confined area at containment level 1 with Ministry of Health authorisation CA/IC/IMP1/06-001.
